This Privacy Policy describes how Retro Invader Cosmic Shooter ("the App"), developed and published by theappary.com ("we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, and protects your information.

Data We Collect

Retro Invader Cosmic Shooter does not require user accounts, logins, or registration. We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or precise location.

We use PostHog to collect limited pseudonymous product analytics, including app and session starts, game starts and completions, score, level, replay actions, ad reliability events, app version, build number, and language. PostHog uses a random anonymous device identifier so that aggregate usage and retention can be measured.

We have disabled PostHog person profiles, session replay, automatic screen and interaction capture, feature-flag requests, and IP-based location enrichment. We do not send the advertising identifier to PostHog. Game progress remains stored locally on your device.

Advertising

The App displays interstitial advertisements powered by Google AdMob. We have configured AdMob to serve non-personalized ads only. This means:

  • Ads are not based on your browsing history, interests, or personal profile.
  • Ad targeting is based on contextual information such as general location (country-level) and the content of the app itself.
  • Google may still collect certain device-level data (such as device type and OS version) as part of serving ads. Please refer to Google's Privacy Policy for details on how Google processes data.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

  • Google AdMob - for serving non-personalized advertisements. AdMob may collect and process limited device-level data as outlined in Google's privacy policy.
  • PostHog - for limited pseudonymous product analytics. See PostHog Privacy Policy.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). The App does not require an account and uses only limited pseudonymous product analytics and non-personalized ads. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party service integrated in the App, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

Data Retention and Deletion

All game data stored locally on your device can be removed by uninstalling the App. Pseudonymous analytics are retained by PostHog according to our service configuration and may be deleted on request when the relevant anonymous identifier can be provided.
